I received my Master's Degree in Science Education from Boston University.
I received my 6th Year Degree in Education Foundations from SCSU.
My older son graduated from UCONN with a major in MIS and minor in Analytics; he works at Raytheon Technologies. My younger graduated from UCONN with a major in Accounting; he works at Grant Thornton. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, cooking, kayaking, biking. walking, watching movies, reading, relaxing on the beach, and playing volleyball. I really enjoy keeping in touch with former students and am very proud of their successes.
Mission For The Class
The mission of this class is for all students to achieve an understanding of science. My goal is to ensure that all students at all levels achieve science literacy because science is the key to their future. Science literacy is a combination of understanding major science concepts and theories, using scientific reasoning and recognizing the complex interactions between science, technology and society. In learning science, students describe objects and events, ask questions, acquire knowledge, construct explanations of natural phenomena, test those explanations in many different ways, and communicate their ideas to others.
